The Paxton Centre
The Paxton Centre opened in September 2016 and is an arts centre, gallery, community hub and cafe in Crystal Palace, South East London.
Throughout the month of May I was part of a show there entitled View/Review, along with 7 other South London artists, and in addition to this the centre stocks a selection of my prints, badges and cards.
A great cafe on Penge high street, friendly and really good value for money. I have been showing work in here for a couple of years and it has been an absolute pleasure from the start.
Its hasn't just been my work on show, but a variety of work from other members of the SE20 Art Group too, and the Cafe is a regular stop on the yearly Penge Art Trail too.
Since relocating to Bristol I have no work here, although that may changer and whenever I am back in the area I generally stop in for a coffee and a chat.
Flaming Nora was established in 2013, soon gaining a reputation as a place to source and supply retro , vintage and up cycled furniture to buyers of all ages.
There's always new stock coming in; reconditioned and up cycled furniture, vintage and retro clothing and they stock artwork by local artists too.
Currently relocating, but I hope to continue to show prints here in the future.
Beer Rebellion Sydenham
I started hanging my work here as part of the Sydenham Art Trail 2016, and just never left.
Its a bit further away from tubecomix studios than Caffee Casbah, so I visit less, but this was the largest collection of my original paintings in one place, apart from my studio or home. All of the pieces you saw here were for sale, and I tended to use it as a place to show my more experimental stuff.
Sadly the place closed in 2016, although thanks to the owner I got all my work back safe! It was a pleasure to show here, great beer and lovely staff!
